Project Director

As a Project Director at HTC Global Services, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and coordinating work teams. You will follow standard project management industry practices, such as the PMI's framework, and understand business and technical objectives of a project. You will work closely with project sponsors to create project charters and work plans, and track budget and schedule progress via appropriate metrics. You will establish project organization and methodologies, define roles and responsibilities, and document risks and develop mitigation plans. You will manage scope, create and implement a communication plan, build an effective team, assign tasks to team members, and evaluate outcomes. You will negotiate resources, communicate to stakeholders and project sponsors, identify, track, and ensure resolution of issues and removal of barriers, and provide technical support to project team members. You will handle complex application features and technical designs, design and implement the components required for complex application features, and generally manage a group of applications system analysts. You will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and professional certification is highly desirable. You may require specific PC, workstation, operating system, application or platform skills. You will provide overall direction to the formulation, development, implementation, and delivery of a project, and exercise management responsibility over the achievement of performance, revenue, and profit objectives of a project and its contracts. You will ensure that the project plan maintains tasks, schedules, estimates, and status, and disseminate information to team members and customers. You will create a structure and organization for the management of a complex environment with emphasis on quality, productivity, and consistency, direct corrective actions in any area where performance falls below objectives, arrange for the assignment of responsibility to other supporting facilities, business areas, and support functions, and monitor their performance. You will be self-directed and independent, responsible for the coordination and completion of projects, oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project, prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project, and have advanced experience managing programs of projects, complex projects or multiple projects. You will demonstrate and advanced understanding of project management methodologies, rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and work under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
