IT Project Engineer Job Description

At TeamLogic IT, we're seeking a highly skilled IT Project Engineer to join our team. As an IT Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and rolling out IT projects for our clients and prospective clients.

The objective of this role is to ensure the highest standards are met throughout the course of said projects, respond to support requests in a timely manner, and ensure the satisfaction of the end user, among other technical duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status.
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor project team members.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project managers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective action.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science and/or 3 years equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Project management and supervision skills.
  • Decision-making ability and leadership skills.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, and Mac OS.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision.
  • CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Network+ preferred.

This is a remote position with a competitive salary of $85,000.00 per year.
