Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality assurance? Do you have experience in inspecting printed circuit boards and ensuring they meet customer and national specifications? We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at a premier client in Tempe, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect printed circuit boards in various stages of production
  • Decipher between acceptable and nonconforming material based on customer and national specifications
  • Use visual optical inspection aids such as microscopes and ring lights
  • Comprehend customer prints, Bill of Materials, specifications, and work instructions
  • Verify all components for placement, polarity, lead prep, part marking, damage, etc.
  • Inspect all solder terminations in regards to alloy, wetting, and volume
  • Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications using measuring instruments
  • Record all inspection results and define any nonconforming issues
  • Notify supervisors of nonconforming issues and assist in identifying and correcting issues
  • Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions
  • Comply with all ESD procedures
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience as a QA PCBA inspector
  • IPC-A-610 certification history
  • Detail-oriented and excellent visual inspection skills
  • Ability to comprehend technical documents and specifications
  • Experience using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, multimeters, or micrometers
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime as required
  • Ability to train on 1st shift and then move to 2nd shift
