Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lot Attendant. This is an entry-level position with potential to move up to a Quicklane Technician role. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership's lot, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report to the Service Manager and Service Advisors to move and clean vehicles as needed.
  • Keep the lot free from debris and garbage.
  • Drive the shuttle for sales and service customers.
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needs and provide estimates for additional repairs.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
  • Technical school training is preferred.
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
  • A positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve.
  • A willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
  • The ability to collaborate with others effectively.
  • The ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
