Preconstruction Director

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Preconstruction Director to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all preconstruction activities, including cost estimation, project planning, and design review.

• Oversee all preconstruction activities, including cost estimation, project planning, and design review.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are launched successfully.
• Develop and implement preconstruction strategies to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all preconstruction activities.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for each project.
• Review design documents to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information and negotiate contracts.
• Presentation of preconstruction plans and budgets to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
• Continuously improve preconstruction processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on preconstruction activities.
• Proven experience in cost estimation and project planning.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in using construction management software.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Professional certification in cost estimation or related field is a plus.
