Key Responsibilities- Assemble, install, and test flight hardware using precision calibrated tools and equipment.
- Manufacture using a variety of specialty tools, including crimping tools, epoxy applicators, tap & die sets, deburring tools, rotary tools, drill press & bandsaw.
- Perform high-pressure pneumatic testing and installation of electrical wire harnesses and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with production engineers and quality personnel to develop and document activities.
- Ensure all production services are performed on time, safely, and in a professional manner.
- A&P License preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with IPC & J-STD specifications.
- Previous experience with High-Detail, mixed volume assembly hardware.
- Experience with flight hardware in a manufacturing environment.
- Electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with mixing/applying adhesives, epoxies, and coating material.
- Experienced Forklift Operations & Overhead Crane Operations.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- 5+ years experience in a mechanical role.
- Familiarity with GD&T principles.
- Be physically able to lift/carry 35lbs, perform climbing operations up to 40 feet, and work in tight spaces.
- Experience in an AS9100 environment.
- Experience working with composites following standard industry practices, performing layups and repairs.
- Previous work experience in the Aerospace and Defense manufacturing environment.
- Competitive salary based upon experience - $70,000-$90,000.
