Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Estimator/Project Manager to join our team at MK Consulting Group. As a key member of our steel construction recruiting firm, you will be responsible for preparing estimates and managing projects for small to large, often complex steel construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret requests for quotes (RFQs) to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Review estimates for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all specifications and scope of work are met.
  • Execute take-offs from design (contract) drawings and input data into Tekla EPM and/or Excel templates.
  • Review and understand construction plans, documents, specifications, and contracts to ensure project success.
  • Plan, organize, and control large commercial building projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, general contractors, architects, engineers, detailers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package includes a negotiable salary range of $85-125K, bonus, relocation assistance, company vehicle, medical, dental, and retirement benefits.
