Job Title:
Radiology Technologist -CT Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for capturing diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes
Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients and staff
Interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality

Requirements

BLS and ACLS certification
National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong technical skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Passionate about patient care
Requires a minimum of two years of current Radiology Tech/CT Tech experience
Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/CT Tech program
Active unencumbered Wisconsin CT Tech state license
One year of Cerner experience
ARRT Certification

Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise

Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks
