Radiology Technologist Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare organization and gain valuable experience in radiology technology. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transports patients as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
