About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to customers throughout their car-buying journey
  • Conduct vehicle condition assessments and communicate information to buyers
  • Check in and receive vehicles, complete daily scanning and reconciliation of vehicle inventory
  • Perform cosmetic inspections and ensure vehicles meet CarMax Quality Standards
  • Perform various administrative duties, including printing daily reports and maintaining transaction paperwork
Requirements
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Display confidence in self, the product, and CarMax
  • Ability to balance customer needs with business requirements
  • Strong team behaviors, including integrity, respect, inclusion, fairness, and fun
