As a Patient Care Technician in our Critical Care Unit, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Obtaining pre and post-treatment vitals, weight, and vascular access condition
- Reporting any unusual changes or findings to the nurse
- Assisting in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment
- Preparing laboratory specimens as prescribed
- Participating in process improvement and quality initiatives
You will also have opportunities to:
- Participate in professional development and growth opportunities
- Collaborate with department leaders on process improvement initiatives
- Assist in the orientation of new employees
