The Salesforce Solutions Architect will be tasked with architecting, developing, and maintaining Salesforce functionalities and tailored solutions that align with our organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem (CRM, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud), alongside robust technical expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning, to augment and refine the standard Salesforce features.

This role will act as a key resource for resolving technical challenges and will provide guidance and support to an Agile software development team.


Location/Office:
This role is primarily remote but may require occasional travel for team collaboration. Preference will be given to candidates in the East Coast/EST and/or CST time zones.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and evaluate business requirements related to Salesforce functionalities (CRM, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud)

Draft functional, technical, and architectural specifications and diagrams for feature enhancements and integrations

Lead Proofs of Concept and devise technical solutions

Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions in collaboration with architecture and other disciplines

Serve as a technical resource for developers, product owners, and program leadership within an Agile framework

Provide technical expertise and guidance to support ongoing Salesforce enhancements and improvements

Develop and maintain Apex code, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components to extend Salesforce functionality

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and system errors, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations

Conduct demonstrations and training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on Salesforce functionalities and processes as needed

Guide, document, and review the development of code and configuration for complex and cross-functional feature enhancements and integration points

Ensure that all solutions adhere to industry best practices and Salesforce standards for security, data privacy, and governance

Provide technical leadership and coordination with onsite and offshore software engineers, addressing challenges, and ensuring alignment with release/sprint goals

Mentor and manage junior team members

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

At least 10 years of experience in software development with a strong programming background

A minimum of 6 years of experience with Salesforce platform capabilities (CRM, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud) and custom development

At least 4 years of experience in a technical lead role

Proficiency in the Salesforce platform with experience in implementation within a large organization

Extensive hands-on experience in configuring and customizing Salesforce capabilities using Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Platform events, and Lightning Components

Experience with Governor limits, CPU timeout issues, and performance optimization

Experience leading and collaborating with software development teams that include onsite, distributed, and offshore members

Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum/SAFe), including experience with continuous integration using Copado

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to interpret logic, data tables, and rule relationships

Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Self-motivated individual with outstanding time management and organizational skills

Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high-quality work, both individually and as part of a team

Compensation:
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $141,000-$197,550
