About the Role:

Huntington Ingalls Industries seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Anti-Tamper Evaluation Team, you will play a critical role in shaping the security architecture for our critical capabilities.

Working closely with senior staff and US Government customers, you will identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities in security implementations and develop knowledge of state-of-the-art security technologies. You will participate in conferences and training to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Review engineering design documents for anti-tamper solutions and conduct vulnerability analysis to ensure the highest level of security.

  • Author technical reports to document vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for improvement, helping us to strengthen our security posture.

    ">">
  • Support technical interchange meetings and provide real-time feedback to ensure seamless collaboration and effective problem-solving.

    ">">
  • Author written feedback to document identified weaknesses and vulnerabilities, providing valuable insights for future improvements.

  • Participate in verification tests of anti-tamper implementations to validate their effectiveness and identify areas for further development.

  • Support DoD anti-tamper working groups to contribute to the development of best practices and standards for secure system design.

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

    ">">
  • 5+ years of engineering experience, including systems engineering, electronic design, and software development.

    ">">
  • Working knowledge of modern electronic components, including microprocessors, FPGAs, and ASIC technologies.

  • Proficient technical writing skills and good verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Minimum Secret clearance required, with ability to obtain TS/SCI w/ enhanced security checks.

  • Experience with DoD sensor and weapon system engineering and development.

  • Hardware and/or software reverse engineering experience.

  • Experience with Defensive Cyber technologies and techniques.

  • Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
