Environmental Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Geologist/Environmental Scientist to join our team in Southern California. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will be responsible for conducting site investigations, remediation, and spill response projects for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct intrusive site investigations, Phase II ESAs, facility investigations, and remedial investigations to determine the presence or absence, nature, and extent of constituents of concern.
- Collect and interpret data, conduct analyses, and compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
- Compile, evaluate, analyze, and present subsurface investigation data and prepare technical reports.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships with direct communication with clients and regulators and respond to comments and problems as quickly as possible.
- Collaborate with other scientific and engineering professionals within the practice.
- Coordinate each project with the client and government agencies as necessary.
- Mentor and provide direct hands-on assistance when teaching new environmental analyses, oral, and writing skills to environmental specialists and staff scientists.
- Stay current with environmental procedures, statutes, rules, guidance, and policies.
- Prepare health & safety plans, work plans, reports, and other technical documents.
- Travel may be required for the purpose of overseeing field crews, participating in off-site meetings, or training.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field of study.
- 5 years of experience, predominantly in environmental remediation.
- GIT or Professional Geologist (PG) License preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in environmental consulting required.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certified.
- Good driving record and valid driver's license.
