Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Route Sales Representative to join our team at Herr Foods. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling, delivering, and merchandising our snack foods to grocery retail and independent chain stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell and deliver Herr's brand snack foods to customers.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Inquire about customer needs and communicate product knowledge and suggestive selling.
  • Increase customer sales volume by soliciting new accounts and executing company-sponsored promotional programs.
  • Manage daily accuracy of product inventory and conduct daily pre-trip vehicle safety inspections.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and have a stable work history with good references.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English and have a strong communication, persuasion, and organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities effectively.
