Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinarian to join our team at Southern Veterinary Partners. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients while developing strong relationships with their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry to deliver the highest quality care to our patients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and wishes, and communicating effectively to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine, attending Continuing Education meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and high-quality care.
  • Represent the hospital positively in the professional community and to the general public.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas.
  • Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
  • The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
  • Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets.
  • Compassionate team player who can uphold great reputation with clients.
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
