Position Summary: The Electronics Design Engineer is responsible for the creation, development, and validation of electronic systems tailored for time-sensitive aerospace projects. This role involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams to accurately capture system requirements and engineer effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of all electrical and electronic components within system architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and qualification protocols, while managing documentation processes efficiently.
  • Provide ongoing support throughout the product lifecycle, including testing, implementation, and updates.
  • Work autonomously while maintaining proactive communication with program management regarding project status and updates.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, customer briefings, and milestone reviews.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electronics, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in electronic design engineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of the formal design process for embedded systems, from conception through to documentation.
  • Experience in ground-up digital system design and familiarity with serial and network protocols.
  • Proficient in schematic capture, simulation, and printed wiring board layout.
  • Experience in design integration, verification, and validation processes.
