Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient care based on scientific principles and evidence-based practice
- Recognize changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately
- Prioritize nursing actions, including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes
- Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire
- Associates degree in nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals
- Valid Registered Nursing license
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Prior experience working with wound care patients (will train)
- Prior experience with billing and coding preferred
- Monday - Friday schedule, no weekends
- Internal ongoing educational/training opportunities
