Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic Specialist

US Foods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel equipment including tractors and trailers.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanics or reefer mechanics, and possess diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs. Additionally, the successful candidate will have successfully demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills, and prior experience in administering an appropriate PM program.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, and adapt to changing organizational and operational needs. The Diesel Fleet Mechanic must also be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and drivers, and demonstrate teamwork skills.
