**Job Title:** Mechanic

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Diesel Direct Inc.. As a Mechanic, you will play a vital role in maintaining the operation of our fuel delivery vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel equipment, including engine diagnostics
  • Perform safety inspections and prepare required documentation according to DOT, company, and regulatory standards
  • Interpret work orders and technical manuals to complete tasks efficiently
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications and regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; minimum age requirement is 21 years old
  • Maintain a safe driving record and possess a valid CDL License (if applicable)
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with oil trucks and diesel equipment
  • Able to interpret policies, procedures, maps, and route directions
