Job Summary

Family Practice Center, P.C. is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Lewisberry. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians to deliver high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in the care and evaluation of patients, including performing and recording history and physical examinations, ordering laboratory and imaging studies, and informing physicians of patient changes.
  • Perform a range of diagnostic and therapeutic tasks, such as superficial wound care, venipuncture, bladder catheterization, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  • Record and interpret electrocardiograms, collect specimens, and perform urine dips and slides.
  • Administer subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous injections, and provide patient education and counseling on various health topics.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and participate in employee and patient education.
Requirements
  • Education: BS or Masters Degree
  • Certification/Licensure: NCCPA Board Certification
  • Typical Physical Demands: Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, adapt to a fast-paced office environment, and lift or position patients of all sizes.
