Compensation:

Shift Details:
Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Education Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required; an undergraduate degree is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in SPD or GI tech roles.
- At least 2 years in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related operational roles, ideally within a healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician).
- Coursework in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing activities for surgical services, ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct supplier follow-ups to ensure compliance with pricing and delivery schedules.
- Oversee the operating room inventory, analyzing usage and costs to optimize stock levels and reduce expenses.
- Execute daily inventory management tasks including receiving, stocking, and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with medical staff to gather specifications and vendor recommendations for supply needs.
- Engage with suppliers to resolve supply chain issues and obtain competitive pricing.
- Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions in the procurement system.
- Coordinate with various departments to address pricing or delivery discrepancies.
- Assist in maintaining high standards of care by ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Prepare reports and metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Participate in departmental meetings and educational programs as required.
- Transport materials and supplies as needed within the healthcare facility.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Report any deficiencies in procedures or equipment to the supervisor.
- Maintain sterile processing logs and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with inventory supply levels and manage emergency equipment stock.
