Position Overview

The Project Manager will leverage their expertise in mechanical design and operations to deliver exceptional results for our clients. The primary focus will be on process safety management within mechanical design. The role emphasizes the quality of deliverables and the efficiency of project execution. The candidate will be responsible for defining solutions for implementation and recommending necessary actions or mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute staff-level tasks within an engineering team environment
  • Ensure quality control for Detailed Engineering Design
  • Oversee the development of Isometrics along with the bill of materials
  • Prepare comprehensive Project Execution Plans
  • Create Detailed Schedules with allocated Resources and Construction Plans
  • Assist with Materials Management and Vendor selection processes
  • Generate accurate Cost Estimates
  • Initiate and manage project Management of Change (MOCs) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs)
  • Provide support for Construction Management
  • Interpret technical data from piping & instrument diagrams, process flow diagrams, plot plans, and mechanical design information
  • Adhere to all safety procedures established by Trinity Consultants and clients

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (other engineering disciplines may be considered)
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a petrochemical plant or refinery setting, preferred
  • At least two years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferred
  • Two or more years of project management experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory codes (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and industry standards (API, NFPA, ASME, etc.), preferred
  • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
  • The unrestricted right to work in the United States
