Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to enhance and support our existing product offerings. This role involves close collaboration with various internal teams and direct engagement with clients to comprehend their requirements and troubleshoot any issues they may encounter. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the evolution of our electrical systems within our devices.

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 based on experience

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in circuit design, including:
    • Signal Conditioning
    • Microamp Scale Data Acquisition
    • Transimpedance Amplifier
  • Proficiency in PCB design, including:
    • Altium
    • Mixed Signal Systems
    • Component Selection
    • Schematic Capture and Routing
    • Board Bring-Up
    • Multi-board System Integration
    • Communication Bus Connectivity (I2C, SPI, UART, RS232, RS485)
  • Firmware development skills, including:
    • Bare-Metal Programming
    • Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
  • Experience with cabling harnesses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a relevant technical role
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven ability to debug hardware and firmware issues
  • Experience in product development phases (EVT/DVT/PVT/MP)
  • Knowledge of design for testing and manufacturing principles
  • Familiarity with circuit simulation tools
  • Experience with PIC18, ADUC, and ESP32 microcontrollers
  • Understanding of power electronics and product safety standards (CE, ATEX)
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the utilization of existing designs in production and repair processes
  • Identify and resolve electrical and firmware challenges in production
  • Refine previous designs to enhance supply chain efficiency and reliability
  • Design new PCBs from concept through to production deployment
  • Oversee the release of new design revisions into production
  • Develop testing methodologies to ensure quality in design and manufacturing
  • Provide technical support to customers regarding electrical and firmware issues
