As a Mechanical/Design Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to contribute to our expanding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop cost-effective designs and create detailed parts and assembly drawings.
- Analyze and enhance existing products for improved manufacturing efficiency.
- Innovate and validate new product designs.
- Utilize SolidWorks to maintain and develop parts and assembly drawings.
- Draft work instructions for production staff.
- Ensure that final products comply with ANSI standards.
- Collaborate closely with fellow engineers, fabricators, and assemblers to design and test new products.
- Conduct design cost analyses for current and future offerings.
- Research market trends to inspire new product ideas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- Strong understanding of hydraulics and electronic controls.
- Experience with weldment design and fabrication terminology.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulation.
- A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
