Job DescriptionThe Sales Manager will play a critical role in capturing market share and growing sales for our Schaerer, WMF, and Curtis brands. This position involves engaging prospects with tailored messages, managing the sales cycle in all commercial aspects, and partnering with the technical sales team to ensure successful customer onboarding.
The ideal candidate will cover a large territory spanning multiple states, targeting customers in the Food Service industry. They will be responsible for:
- Expanding existing accounts and increasing penetration within assigned channels;
- Providing strategic insights to inform sales and marketing strategies;
- Utilizing market data and insights to close sales opportunities;
- Maintaining an active pipeline of new business opportunities;
- Preparing monthly sales forecasts;
- Training and engaging customer sales teams regarding SEB products;
- Delivering yearly sales quotas for all brands;
- Representing SEB Professional at trade shows, industry events, and other matters;
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree (desired) and a minimum of 5 years' experience in outside sales;
- Previous experience with commercial food service equipment or commercial coffee equipment;
- A proven track record of selling to National Food Service Chain Customers, Food Service Dealers, and Coffee Roasters;
- Strong persuasion, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills;
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
