We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Analytics and Information Systems team at the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering complex software systems that support our emergency management and climate response initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop software solutions using Angular 9+, TypeScript, and cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system functionality across the full application technology stack
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to the improvement of our development processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance our software systems
- Strong experience in software development, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and services
- Proficiency in Angular 9+, TypeScript, and cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS)
