We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at Mercy. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our ophthalmology team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for ophthalmology exams and procedures
- Conduct visual acuity tests, refractions, and other necessary testing
- Assist doctors with minor procedures and pre-op measurements
- Schedule surgeries and assist with front desk duties as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5+ years of ophthalmology experience preferred
- Certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) a plus
- Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 for continuing education
- Health, dental, and vision benefits available after day one
- Annual contribution of $100 per month to eligible co-workers enrolled in the Dependent Care FSA
