Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at Mercy. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our ophthalmology team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for ophthalmology exams and procedures
  • Conduct visual acuity tests, refractions, and other necessary testing
  • Assist doctors with minor procedures and pre-op measurements
  • Schedule surgeries and assist with front desk duties as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of ophthalmology experience preferred
  • Certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) a plus
