Radiology Department Lead

**Job Summary**
As a Radiology Department Lead, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of our imaging department. Your responsibilities will include assigning tasks to imaging modalities, facilitating the performance of imaging exams, and reviewing quality control logs.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assign tasks to imaging modalities
- Facilitate the performance of imaging exams
- Review quality control logs
- Evaluate orders and verify them with radiologists when necessary
- Familiarize yourself with various imaging equipment and devices
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and place service calls when needed
- Perform incomplete audits and make corrections when required
- Interact with hospital staff and/or nursing departments regarding patient care, concerns, and conflicts
**Qualifications**
- Current BCLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology experience
- Membership in related professional organizations preferred
- Knowledge of performance standards as outlined by the ASRT
- ARRT Certification in Radiology
**Education/Licensure**
- Graduate from an approved school in Radiologic Technology
- Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in the State of Texas
- ARRT Certification (R)
