Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Scientist to join our dynamic team in Genentech's BRAID department. As a member of our Perturbation Biology group, you will develop cutting-edge ML models to drive experimental design and derive actionable insights from large-scale high-content perturbation experiments.

In this role, you will:
  • Design and apply advanced Machine Learning algorithms to guide experimental design.
  • Work with various data modalities, including molecular structures, omics data, images, and text.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deploy novel ML algorithms.
We require a PhD in a quantitative field or the physical or life sciences with a strong quantitative focus. You should have extensive experience with Machine Learning frameworks and libraries, as well as strong background in statistics, probabilistic modeling, and data analysis. Preferred qualifications include experience in predictive modeling, multimodal data integration, and generative modeling.

Expected Salary Range: $165,200 - 306,800 based on location and individual qualifications.
