Job Summary

Child Guidance & Family Solutions is seeking a skilled Intake Specialist to join our team. As an Intake Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for new clients, responsible for responding to inquiries, handling referrals, and scheduling initial appointments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to client inquiries and complete registration process in electronic health record.
  • Verify insurance coverage and schedule appointments with appropriate providers.
  • Refer clients to community resources and provide emergency recommendations as needed.
  • Monitor intake times and ensure compliance with wait time standards.
  • Provide crisis support and consultation as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of professional office experience and strong data entry skills preferred.
  • Experience working in mental health setting a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
