Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled EEG Technician to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. As an EEG Technician, you will be responsible for recording patients' brain waves' electrical activity using specialized electroencephalographic machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to patients' questions and concerns, referring specific diagnostic, treatment, or prognosis questions to the patient's physician.
  • Understand and operate state-of-the-art EEG equipment, including equipment used within Trinity Health Of New England.
  • Perform diagnostic EEG procedures, including routine and portable EEG, sleep, electro cerebral silence, and 24-hour ambulatory EEG.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an EEG technician, with preferred experience in routine, portable, sleep, electro cerebral silence, and 24-hour ambulatory EEG.
  • Certification: Must be certified by ABRET, with registration or registry eligibility considered.
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
  • Clerical and computer experience in E-MAR, clinical documentation, and standard Microsoft Office is desired.
  • BLS or CPR Certification: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification required within six months of the start date.
