Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for executing routine lab operations activities, maintaining consumable and chemical inventory, and ensuring uninterrupted stocks are available to analytical labs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of lab inventory, supplies, and equipment
  • Order and manage lab supplies, chemicals, and equipment
  • Perform routine lab maintenance and cleaning tasks
  • Assist in lab organizational activities and lead a culture of continuous improvement
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of packages
  • Attend facilities and operations meetings
  • Communicate progress and findings with supervisor and team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years' experience in laboratory management
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience with MS Office Products: Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Organizational skills, creative thinking, analyzing issues, decision making, collaboration
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office and Excel with excellent writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with teams
  • Hands-on experience in a laboratory setting and basic knowledge of chemistry
  • Familiarity with relevant quality, regulatory, and ICH guidelines
