Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Travel Job

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience and possess the following skills:

  • Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
  • Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern
  • Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies
  • Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
  • Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
  • Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience
  • BLS, ARDMS National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required

The successful candidate will be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. They must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
