We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Pump Mechanic to join our team at DXP Enterprises. As a key member of our industrial solutions team, you will be responsible for providing expert mechanical services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints and Drawings: Utilize your technical expertise to read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate and efficient mechanical services.
  • Operate Advanced Tools and Equipment: Use micrometers, dial indicators, presses, torches, and pullers to perform a variety of mechanical tasks.
  • Align Pumps and Motors: Ensure precise alignment of pumps and motors to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Rebuild Mechanical Seals: Utilize your technical expertise to rebuild mechanical seals to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a working knowledge of fits and clearances, as well as the ability to read micrometers and other measuring instruments.
  • Mathematical Skills: Demonstrate good mathematical skills to accurately calculate and record measurements.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively write inspection reports and collaborate with team members.
  • Education and Experience: Hold a high school diploma and possess at least 5 years of experience in a related field.
Additional Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Training and Certifications: Ability to perform laser alignments and take vibration readings preferred.
  • Shift Time and Overtime: First shift with overtime as required.
