Job Summary

UATX invites applications for multiple faculty positions in the Center for Economics, Politics & History (CEPH), focusing on a broad range of fields in economics, finance, economic history, American politics, international relations, American history, world history, military history, legal history, and constitutional studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach six class hours per week during term-time or the equivalent of 2/2 in the American semester system.
  • Maintain the highest standards of pedagogical excellence.
  • Be available in person and in office on the days they teach.
  • Attend weekly common lectures and other academic events outside the classroom.
  • Advise students academically and supervise them as they work on their individual Polaris projects.
Requirements
  • A broad range of fields in economics, finance, economic history, American politics, international relations, American history, world history, military history, legal history, and constitutional studies.
  • Empiricism, constitutionalism, and applied history.
  • Highly competitive salary.
