Job Title: Business Analyst

Clark College is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our IT Services department. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging IT and business, using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations to the Vice President (VP) of IT and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate clear communication between IT and business stakeholders.
  • Understand stakeholder needs and document detailed requirements.
  • Identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement and communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and enhance business processes and systems.
  • Collaborate to design and implement technology solutions.
  • Drive projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Develop test plans, conduct testing, and validate solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, specifications, process flows, and user guides.
  • Provide end-user training and support for new systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with manager and cross-functional teams to ensure changes are effective.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field OR Associate degree AND two (2) years of experience in a related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager or similar experience in an IT environment, with some supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in business analysis tools, data analytics tools, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and project management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; collaborative; detail-oriented; experienced in managing complex relationships.
  • Current valid driver's license.
  • Must possess reliable means of transportation to visit the campus and other college sites.
