Job Summary

The Warehouse Laborer/RPC Sorter is a critical role within our organization, responsible for hand sorting reusable plastic containers by manufacturer and size onto pallets. This position requires attention to detail, strong math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sorting and Stacking: Hand stack RPCs on pallets to the appropriate height, following inventory control instructions.
  • Quality Control: Examine products for quality standards.
  • Trash Removal: Ensure all trash and debris are removed prior to returning to the customer.
  • Pallet Wrapping: Wrap sorted pallets and secure for shipment.
  • Material Handling: Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
  • Production Paperwork: Complete all production paperwork with accuracy.
  • Communication: Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
Requirements
  • Math and Language Skills: Good math, language, and reading skills with attention to detail.
  • Attention to Safety: High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
  • Record Keeping: Follow instructions for keeping records.
  • Overtime: Understanding that overtime may be required.
