We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team at Monte Nido Virtual Day Treatment Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients struggling with eating disorders. Your expertise and empathy will help clients achieve a healthy relationship with food and their bodies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Serve as a liaison with families and outpatient providers
  • Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
  • Participate in discharge and aftercare planning
  • Provide therapeutic meal support and model a healthy relationship with food

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in clinical counseling or related discipline
  • New York state license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field
  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
