We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physician Assistant-Specialty to join our team at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn. As a member of our surgical department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art robotic surgery suite, collaborating with skilled surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide cutting-edge patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for working in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment under the supervision of attending physicians.
  • Perform diagnostic and assessment services, such as lab tests and imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient encounters, including assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, applicants must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program, 0-1 years of relevant experience, and current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of New York. Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NALS is also required. A DEA Certificate is mandatory for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $125,000 - $155,000 per year, depending on experience. NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
