Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team at GW Hospital. In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care to patients, utilizing your expertise in physical therapy to enhance functional recovery and improve patient outcomes.
About the Position
- You will be working in a dynamic hospital setting, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- As a Physical Therapist, you will assess patients' physical abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to promote optimal recovery.
- In addition to direct patient care, you will participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to education and research activities, and engage in interdisciplinary collaborations to advance patient care and rehabilitation practices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a rehabilitation environment
- Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the District of Columbia
- Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals by AHA or Red Cross
Salary Information
