Position Overview: As a key leader within the Department of the Navy, you will be responsible for setting both short-term and long-term objectives for the organization. Policy Development: You will assess the need for formal policies and procedures, assigning team members to draft these documents, and reviewing them for approval upon completion.

Coordination of Technical Efforts: Your position will require you to synchronize the activities of technical staff in performing complex business systems analyses that address challenging technological and human relations issues.

Data Analysis: You will be tasked with capturing, reporting, and analyzing statistical data related to the organization's operations, as well as directing or personally conducting special studies or projects.

Quality Improvement: It will be your responsibility to take necessary actions to enhance the quality and efficiency of operational services, which may involve refining automation processes, reorganizing teams, reallocating resources, and developing strategies to optimize the organization’s capabilities.

Qualifications: To qualify for this position, candidates must be U.S. citizens and suitable for federal employment. Additionally, you must participate in the direct deposit pay program and may be required to successfully pass an employment verification check.

Experience Requirements: Your resume should demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in federal service or comparable experience in the private or public sector. This experience should include:

  • Developing and implementing policies, strategies, and resource requirements related to Facilities Related Control Systems (FRCS) and industrial control systems.
  • Leading complex and sensitive projects with significant impact.
  • Exercising high levels of responsibility and judgment in budgeting and program execution.
