Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions in a Satellite Communications (SatCom) environment. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers and technicians, manage projects from inception to completion, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project staffing, budgets, and schedules while ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Provide technical guidance and input to Program Management and other stakeholders.
  • Assess project challenges, develop resolutions, and monitor progress using effective mechanisms for intervention and problem-solving.
  • Lead the design and implementation of engineering solutions, ensuring adherence to safety standards and engineering processes.
  • Mentor and motivate team members, fostering professional growth and ensuring knowledge transfer.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant technical and management experience, preferably in satcom or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical design processes, systems engineering methodologies, and engineering design tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate experienced technical teams.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness programs, career development opportunities, and a generous retirement savings plan with company match.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position based in Kilgore, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical design processes, systems engineering methodologies, and engineering design tools. Experience in satellite communications or similar high-tech industries is highly desirable.
