Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator

The Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator will assist in various facets of human resources, including recruitment, staffing, training, and HRIS management. This role will primarily focus on the recruitment and retention of Spanish-speaking personnel while also supporting the broader objectives of the department and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment and hiring processes, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, entering applicant data into HRIS, and guiding new hires through electronic paperwork and onboarding.
- Build relationships with community partners to enhance recruitment and training resources.
- Support the maintenance of HR forms, documents, and policies.
- Address employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
- Assist with personnel matters as needed.
- Generate necessary documentation and reports.
- Support company events and initiatives.
- Contribute content to the employee newsletter.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- One to three years of general office or clerical experience required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid state driver's license.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
- Willingness to travel within the Goodwill of the Chesapeake territory.
- Proficient in data entry and computer usage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Demonstrated compassion and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require lifting up to 10 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds. The role involves standing, walking, and using hands and fingers for various tasks.
Work Environment:
The work is primarily conducted in a general office setting with minimal exposure to environmental hazards. The noise level is typically quiet.
