Enrollment Manager

The Educational Empowerment Group seeks an experienced Enrollment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in K-12 education and student information systems.
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can establish a presence in the community, provide enrollment counseling, and process new student enrollments, transfers, withdrawals, and waiting lists. As an Enrollment Specialist, you will serve as a liaison to parents, facilitate parent education and involvement, and administer all enrollment procedures and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a presence in the community for outreach and recruiting purposes;
- Provide enrollment counseling for incoming students and families;
- Process new student enrollments, student transfers, student withdrawals, and waiting lists;
- Serve as liaison to parents and facilitate parent education and involvement;
- Administer all enrollment procedures and timelines;
- Utilize and maintain the computerized student information system;
- Create and maintain Academy student records;
- Prepare and/or maintain computer records of student attendance;
- Maintain attendance accounting records in accordance with EMIS standards;
- Ensure attendance are accurate;
- Verify with parents and teachers the validity of daily attendance as reported;
- Generate and distribute excessive absences letters or other attendance problem letters to parents;
- Maintain records of students' scores on state mandated tests and standardized tests;
- Maintain records of student suspensions, student withdrawal from school, and record of reasons for student withdrawal;
- Prepare customized reports for Academy needs;
- Disseminate information to the Principal and other Academy personnel regarding student information requirements for the operation of the student information system;
- Communicate with school personnel, parents, students, and central office staff while complying with the confidentiality requirements in local, state, and federal policies and status;
- Perform duties associated with receptionist (i.e., answer phones, take messages, greet visitors/guests, address student needs, and release students as requested).
Requirements:
- High School Diploma at minimum, Associates Degree preferred;
- Experience in K-12 Education;
- At least two years' experience working with Student Information Systems and EMIS state reporting databases;
- Ability to oversee, manage, and submit state mandated reports;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Satisfactory completion of local, state, and federal criminal history check and TB test;
- Demonstrated ability to exhibit strong interpersonal skills with students, parents and administrators;
- Ability to meet established deadlines;
- $45,000 - $65,000 per year salary based on qualifications and location.
