Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Prime Therapeutics. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping us make data-driven decisions to improve healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, document, develop, and roll out financial, clinical, and utilization analyses using a variety of computing tools (e.g., SQL, Excel).
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses that will vary in duration and complexity, while balancing multiple priorities and maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Interpret results and prepare data findings in an easily understandable format for varying levels of the organization.
  • Experience working with normalized and denormalized data structures.
  • Experience with SAS, SPSS, and/or other data mining tools.
  • Experience with healthcare medical and pharmacy claims data manipulation and analysis.
  • Master's degree in a technical or analytic field (e.g., computer science, statistics).
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills and ability to interpret results of query analyses.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of transact-SQL (MS SQL or Oracle) experience.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and business intelligence principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science or Mathematics.
