Case Management Department Manager

Job Summary
As a Case Management Department Manager at Insight Global, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department. This includes supporting the case management and interdisciplinary healthcare team in facilitating patient care through the continuum.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor department activities to ensure optimum case management, including education, competency, and accountability of licensed staff.
- Provide clinical oversight and training in collaboration with the Department Educator and leadership team to ensure staff competence.
- Develop core case management standards and programs to facilitate optimal patient care and effective transitions to an alternate level of care.
- Identify key performance indicators for the department and ensure all professional and organizational standards are kept.
- Recruit, hire, and develop staff, as well as perform progressive discipline as necessary.
- Participate in program planning, budgeting, and longer-term strategic planning for the department.
Requirements
- At least 4-5 years of case management experience in a large hospital (100 or more beds).
- Leadership experience, either as a team lead, manager, or in a similar role.
- Ability to successfully initiate streamlined work processes and improve efficiency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's Degree (a social worker with the required qualifications is also considered).
Preferred Qualifications
- EPIC experience, specifically with reports.
- CCM or ACM certification.
