Job Overview

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and evidence-based care to patients with varying levels of acuity. This role involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent patient outcomes.

About the Role
Estimated Salary: $83,000 - $110,000 per year
Work Schedule: Per diem, night shift ( rotating shifts may be required)
Location: Emergency Department at UCHealth hospital

In this critical role, you will utilize your nursing expertise to assess patients' needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement effective interventions to promote optimal health outcomes. Your ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accurate records will be essential in ensuring smooth operations within the department.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, adhering to established standards and protocols.
2. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and develop comprehensive care plans.
3. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
4. Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate efficient communication and enhance patient experience.
5. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by identifying areas for growth and implementing evidence-based practices.
