We are seeking a talented Host/Server Assistant to join our Outback Steakhouse team. As a Host/Server Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Make a memorable first impression by greeting guests in a welcoming manner and ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
  2. Coordinated the wait and seating of guests with a sense of urgency, ensuring that every guest feels valued and attended to.
  3. Develop a general knowledge of the menu and be able to recommend and upsell products, enhancing the guest's dining experience.
  4. Work as a team player, assisting throughout the restaurant by bussing tables, delivering food and bar beverages, and ensuring that every opportunity to WOW a customer is completed.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. and work in hot and cold environments.
  • Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods of time while performing essential job duties.
  • For all California-based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certifications Required (can be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date).
