Safety Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Consultant to join our team at BBSI. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in helping our business-owner clients maximize their investment in human capital through the establishment of best practices in enterprise risk management and risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership to our business-owner clients and internal team of experts in risk management and occupational health and safety.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies that positively impact client and BBSI initiatives and profitability.
- Partner with client companies to educate and influence them on matters involving the promotion of a proactive risk management culture, occupational health and safety, and behavior-based safety.
- Conduct facility, job site, and pre-construction surveys to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including OSHA consultations, and provide guidance on driver safety, fleet safety, and loss control.
- Develop and implement return-to-work programs and train-the-trainer occupational safety training programs.
- Solid understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices.
- Experience working in a dynamic team environment and providing leadership to clients and internal teams.
- Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine desire to proactively and consistently deliver results for our clients and internal teams.
- At least 10 years of risk management, occupational health and safety, and regulatory experience required.
- Ideal candidate will have a professional certification such as CSP, ARM, RPIH, CHMM, CIH, or Six Sigma.

The starting salary range for this position is $90,000-105,000 annually, with factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, certifications, and other qualifications affecting starting pay. This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Paid Time Off: 40 hours of paid sick leave annually, vacation accrues up to 80 hours in the first year, up to 120 hours in years 2-4, and up to 160 hours in the fifth year; 6 paid holidays annually, 4 paid volunteer days annually.
